Carter's first day of public school was a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't she look excited? She's been enjoying it so far. She gets to ride the bus, which she was pretty stoked about. She's starting to make some new friends too, which is good - almost all of the kids from the preschool she used to go to are from other towns, and don't go to her new elementary school.

This year we went to Echo Lake a couple of times (first year we've tried it), and really enjoyed it. The scenery is intense, with that giant cliff face right behind the lake. The water wasn't very cold at all, either. I kept letting Sean stand on my shoulders, then I would crouch and stand up quickly, and he would try to jump off at the peak of my push. It was sending him really high into the air sometimes - I'd swear he was at least 6 feet off of the water on a few of best ones!

Dad, Tracy and Ryan joined us for our trip to Santa's Village while we were on vacation. We got a great day for it - not too hot, not too cold, clear skies, and the park was half-empty.

While on vacation, we spent a day down at the Saco River. The water was too cold for the grown-ups to swim, but the kids had a lot of fun. Sean and I built a knee-high wall out of river rocks before he got too cold and was ready to go.

Carter is all done at Little Explorers - on to public school next year!

Another random photo Sean and I snapped while outside today. In fact, it was his idea. He said he wanted to see more photos of the two of us together, and wanted me to take one right then. I think it came out pretty decent!

Snapped this picture randomly while outside today, but for some reason I really like it. He's really starting to look comfortable on that bike. Can't wait to get him out on some trails!

Auntie Tracy and Uncle Mike took all three kids to the beach last weekend on an exceptionally beautiful day. Looks like they had a great time. At one point, they completely buried Sean, leaving only his head exposed. Oh, how many days I've wanted to do the exact same thing... Heh.
