After hours of shoveling (and it's still snowing, so I'm sure I'll have to go back out there at some point) Lori, the kids, the dog, and I all went for a snowy trek in the woods out back. All we could see of the dog was her nose and her tail, but she was having the time of her life.

Somehow she's never tried this before, but the other day I found Sadie curled up in a laundry basket on top of a pile of towels and blankets. She's more or less a perfect fit!

Lori's brother and his wife just had a brand new baby girl. Carter and Sean both adore her. The two of them have always loved babies.

Speaking of babies - congratulations to James and Kathy on their beautiful baby girl!

The twins came by this morning, to celebrate my sister's birthday with a pancake breakfast. Man do my kids love those babies!
